Established in 2009, the Titan Automotive Group began formal operations on January 1^st, 2010.

During the global economic crisis of 2008 -2009, General Motors Corporation decided that as part of its survival and restructuring plans, Saturn, amongst other brands, had to go. Saturn Canada was operated by General Motors of Canada Ltd. and they decided that effective December 31^st, 2009, all Saturn Canada operations would cease. When the announcement came in August of 2009, Saturn of Regina began it's transformation into a new yet deeply experienced independent retail entity. Titan Automotive Group set out to become a premier all makes - all models dealer and repair centre in the Regina and area market region.

Throughout the 18 plus years as a Saturn Retailer, the team-members strove to include the best possible customer service with the best possible repair/maintenance work with best possible new and used car, truck, and SUV sales.

The Titan Automotive Group was founded by the owners Rick Ponto and Terry Leach. One evening while considering a name for their new company, Rick and Terry discovered that Titan was Saturn's largest moon. The name was a natural for the company. When they presented the name to the team-members, it was a hit and from thereon, Titan Automotive Group was in business. A new logo was created and the identity forged.

Over the days and months since its creation, the Titan Automotive Group has grown. A large clean showroom displays some of the best pre-owned vehicles around. Comprehensive financial services are available on site to assist buyers in getting the vehicle of their dreams. The former Parts & Service departments melded together to form the Titan Car Care Centre which offers maintenance and repairs to all makes and models while specializing in Saturn and GM vehicles. The Car Care Centre, retaining all its Saturn/GM trained technicians, tools and training, offers the only truly Saturn trained shop in Regina and Area.
